LinkedIn ABM Help Supports Many B2B Technology, Software, Consulting and Professional Service Firm Clients – But We Are Not A Good Fit For Everyone!

Yep, it’s true, we are freely admitting that LinkedIn ABM is NOT for everyone. And, because each day, multiple companies from around the globe (some big and some small)contact us for assistance with their LinkedIn marketing efforts, we wanted to save each other time and let you know what we are not.

Below, you’ll find our list of who we’re not a good fit for:

We are not a “project” based marketing firm or virtual assistance firm – We are not good fit if you’re looking for project work (except for profile makeovers, strategy or one of our separate services.)

LinkedIn marketing is a long-term strategy as it takes time to build relationships. Our programs and processes are not for quick, short term hits. For our managed LinkedIn marketing service programs we like to take on clients with high-priced, complex products and long sales cycles where relationships matter.

If you want to invest in our ongoing LinkedIn marketing program, you must also be willing to outsource 100% of your LinkedIn marketing efforts (since each part of a LinkedIn marketing program affects another part!) We’re focused on giving you the value you want – increased revenues from LinkedIn – and in order to do that, we must be able to implement on all cylinders.

We are not an ordinary social media marketing firm.

We are not for you if you’re looking for someone to run all of your social media accounts (in the same manner). We’ll work with your social media team to integrate their efforts with ours and to ensure a consistent voice, but we specialize only in LinkedIn. You wouldn’t ask a general surgeon to do heart surgery on you, would you? Same thing here, if you’re looking to develop more business using the #1 B2B social media platform, why would you go to a generalist (that will just get you brand awareness), instead of a firm that’s even recognized by LinkedIn as experts.

We are a prospect development firm – not a typical LinkedIn lead generation company.

We are not for you if you’re looking for 5, 10, 15, 20 definite leads per week for you to call and waste your time with. There are LinkedIn lead generation and sales hunter firms that go for numbers – they’ll send out hundreds of templated messages hoping that their messages will stick with enough people (even if they are not the right people!)

We had a prospect mention how the company Linked Selling was giving them 5 to 7 calls per week but it was either not a decision maker (it was someone who may be able to refer them) or the person wasn’t far enough in the buying process.  The prospect was wasting hours per week with unqualified marketing leads.

We focus on going directly to the decision makers and building real relationships with them so they’ll want to talk at the right time. We focus on giving you only marketing qualified sales opportunities.

We are not strong believers in curated content.

Yes, we’ll use curated content from credible 3rd party sources to support our clients’ claims and messaging and to show prospects that they keep their fingers on the pulse of their industry. But, we’re focused on differentiating our clients and showing their prospects that our clients have the solution they are looking for.

The only way to do that is to have unique, thought leadership content that is meant to drive next step actions. We require that our clients regularly blog – and we like to see them create at least one piece of rock content per quarter (ebook, white paper or webinar that can be promoted with blog posts, podcasts etc.)

To use our managed LinkedIn services, you must be engaged in content marketing (in-house, outsourced to another content marketing firm or writer, or using our social content services.)

We are not a firm that holds back criticism and feedback.

You may call it arrogance (yes, we’ve been called that before) but we feel it’s our obligation to always be 100% frank and honest with our clients. Our services are not cheap – and you invest in us because you want results. How can we get results by completing actions that are against best practices or sharing content that won’t drive next step actions just because you asked us to?

We don’t want you coming back to us saying, “Why did you wait 2 months to tell us that we were doing something stupid which was leading to lower than expected results for the last 60 days” like a client told one of our former partner firms. With that being said, not everyone receives criticism and feedback well – if that’s you then we’re not the firm for you.

We are a not a firm that thinks small when it comes to LinkedIn marketing, social content marketing and social selling.

Frankly, at LinkedIn ABM we want to work with the best of the best when it comes to LinkedIn marketing and social content marketing.

This means companies must be committed, responsive to our needs, and willing to think outside the box. They must be experts in their area and ready to demonstrate their thought leadership. We will handle the implementation but their needs to be client involvement if you want to go beyond reach. Weekly brainstorming and accountability calls will be mandatory to ensure proper revenue performance management (an important part of your LinkedIn program if you want success.)

We are not the lowest price LinkedIn marketing strategist or outsourced LinkedIn marketing firm.

Clearly, there are many LinkedIn marketing and social media firms that will charge less than we do at LinkedInABM.com, as they should be as they’re focused on one piece of the LinkedIn marketing puzzle – brand awareness. They’re shooting from the hip as there is no defined strategy – which also means they have no way to optimize programs for maximum revenue performance.

Because, we go beyond the brand awareness stage – and focus on prospect development where there is true engagement, our services come with a premium investment.
